Collaborative Sites: Creating a Screen Name

By default, your name will appear as your university NetID throughout the Collaborative Site.

You can use a Screen Name to control how your name appears on the Collaborative Site. (Note - You will still log in with your NetID, but your screen name will be displayed on site pages.)

Collaborative Sites: Create a Post

Your course site is all about creating new content. In some sites, the content might have different names. Usually, a student creates content in a "post". However, in some courses, students will create a "reading response", or a "discussion summary". It all depends on how your course is structured and what sort of assignments your instructor creates. You'll see this sort of editor in the Collaborative Sites and L&S Sites services.  There may be some variation in available icons.
