Foreign character key combinations (Macintosh)

January 5, 2009 by Sue Weier

The attached document displays two types of key combinations often used when composing non-English documents on a Macintosh.

The Microsoft Word key combinations are a combination of Alt and a letter. These combinations may not work in the rest of the Office Suite. You can use these key combinations when you have an English keyboard selected.

The Macintosh key combinations are a combination of the option key and a letter. These key combinations will work in most Windows applications.
