This week, the Learning Support Services social media team will be launching a new campaign to carry out the LSS mission of connecting and supporting teaching and learning through technology. The campaign, LSS Bridge, hopes to create a forum to share some of the best practices of L&S instructors who are using technology in the classroom and showcase innovative UW-Madison teaching and learning.
The campaign will consist of two parts: Tip Tuesday and a Weekend Wisdom. Tip Tuesday will bring you quick teaching and learning facts, advice and tips from UW-Madison instructors and our LSS staff. Weekend Wisdom will be posted every Thursday and will consist of more in-depth stories about teaching innovation, ranging from interviews with professors using Twitter and Facebook to have conversations with students about class assignments to how instructors are using LSS technology to support their students.
LSS Bridge will run from October 28th through the middle of December. Tip Tuesday and Weekend Wisdom will be posted on theLSS Facebook page, Twitter, Instagram and Blogger. We encourage instructors to get involved in the conversation too, using the hashtags #TipTuesday, #WeekendWisdom, #LSSBridge to give input or ask questions.
