Learning Support Services would like to congratulate the 14 Teaching Assistants who received the 2015 Campus-wide Teaching Assistant Awards!
With over 2,000 Teaching Assistants at UW-Madison, Learning Support Services is proud that almost 70 percent of them work within the College of Letters & Sciences. Teaching Assistants play an essential role in the classroom by enhancing and facilitating students learning at UW-Madison. Without the amazing work that they do, UW-Madison would not be the renowned university it is today.
Each year the Graduate School, with funding support from the College of L&S, selects Teaching Assistants who have performed exceptionally well in their duties to receive this award. The award is broken down into four categories: Exceptional Service Award, Innovation In Teaching Award, Capstone PH.D. In Teaching Award and Early Excellence in Teaching Award.
The recipients were recognized for their hard work at a ceremony February 26, 2015 in Van Vleck Hall.
