LSS Computer Classroom Gets Makeover

January 26, 2010 by Lisa Jansen

LSS recently upgraded the computer
classroom in room 274 Van Hise Hall. The laptops are gone and have
been replaced with:

  • Mac minis capable of running both Mac
    and Windows programs
  • 22" LCD monitors
  • better web cameras

Other upgrades include:

  • better seating
  • brighter projector (has been ordered)
  • larger white board (will be installed soon)

This classroom, along with several others, can be reserved for instructional use by timetable courses in the College of Letters & Science. Please see Van Hise Class Computer Labs for more information.

Upgrades were funded by a grant from the UW-Madison Instructional Lab Modernization (ILM) grant program.
