Virtual Drop Boxes for Writing Assignments

Is your email in-box overflowing with student writing assignments? If so, it may be time to set up a virtual drop box.

A virtual drop box

• provides a secure place for students to upload assignments
• gives you information about date/time submitted
• makes it easy to mail reminders to students who have missing assignments
• provides a way to leave feedback

It’s easy to create a virtual drop box within Learn@UW. If Learn@UW doesn’t meet your drop box needs, there are other options available within My WebSpace and Moodle.
