Faculty and staff in the College of Letters & Science have access
to a wide variety of tools for interacting with students and content
online. The latest addition is Adobe Connect - an eLearning &
webconferencing technology that integrates a
variety of tools:
Every semester, things just get busier and busier in the L&S AV Pool, and we expect that trend to continue this semester as instructors continue making audio, video, and Internet resources essential elements of classroom instruction.
The UW InfoLabs have implemented a limit on the number of laptops that can be checked out per semester. This was implemented to increase the availability of laptops. It will not affect most patrons, since only a very few actually use a laptop more than 20 times. If you checked a laptop out last semester, you will receive an email notification of the change. The quota system is also referenced in your confirmation emails when you check a laptop out.
