Winter Break Hours

The LSS AV Pool, InfoLab, and Learning Lab are all closed during Winter Break (December 28 - January 21). The AV Pool will reopen on January 22nd, and the InfoLab and Learning Lab will reopen on January 23rd. Please see our Spring Hours for information about when these facilities will be open during the regular semester.

All LSS offices, including the Tech Zone, will be open normal hours during Winter Break.

If you need assistance or have questions about these closed facilities before the start of the semester, please contact the LSS Main Office.

Finals Week Hours at LSS

LSS offices will be open normal hours during Finals Week, December 17-21.

The Learning Lab and InfoLab will be open the following hours:

Learning Lab (259 Van Hise)

  • Monday, December 17: 10 am to 4 pm
  • Tuesday, December 18: 10 am to 4 pm
  • Wednesday, December 19: 10 am to 2 pm
  • Thursday, December 20: 10 am to 2 pm
  • Friday, December 21: 10 am to 12 noon

InfoLab (464 Van Hise)

  • Monday, December 17: 10 am to 4 pm
  • Tuesday, December 18: 10 am to 4 pm
  • Wednesday, December 19: 10 am to 4 pm
  • Thursday, December 20: 10 am to 2 pm
  • Friday, December 21: 10 am to 12 noon

Both labs will be closed until January 23.

Identity Finder: What do I do now?

Identity Finder is a software tool that helps find restricted or sensitive data saved in files on your computer. In departments supported by L&S Learning Support Services, Identity Finder automatically runs each week. When the scan finishes, the report window opens on your desktop.

So what do you do now?

LSS is now accepting applications for a Learning Technology Teaching Assistant (50%).

The LTTA is part of a team that provides support, training, and outreach for instructional technology initiatives in the College of Letters & Science. The LTTA consults with L&S instructional staff, especially TAs, on the development of learning technology solutions for classroom and online learning environments.
