Collaborative Sites

A Collaborative Site is a custom online learning environment focused on student interaction and knowledge building.

LSS has piloted Collaborative Sites in several L&S courses, creating sites that support multiple types of interaction, including group authorship and consensus building, class glossaries, knowledge repositories, course portfolios, student journals, and literary analysis. Learn more.

LessonShare

LessonShare helps communities of instructors share, organize, and collaboratively improve their lessons, handouts, and other teaching materials. Learn more.

Moodle

Moodle is a course management system which emphasizes interactivity among students and instructor.  It provides a spectrum of functions suitable for courses that meet face-to-face, as well as pure distance courses. Learn more.

Podcasting

Podcasting has made sharing digital audio and video even easier. As an instructional tool, podcasts can be used to promote increased interaction between instructors and students, more time on task outside of the classroom, or increased engagement in student projects. LSS has supported and helped design several successful podcasts in the College of Letters & Science.
