How to Make a PDF from a Word Document

 

You can't just create a PDF from any old word document. Generally you need some way to convert the document from MS Word to Adobe Acrobat. Some people do this using a standard or professional version of Adobe Acrobat.

Some do this using other things; here's one solution...and it's free!

Download and Install CutePDF Writer.

The install program requires a second install for a PS->PDF converter.

Then, in a MS Word document, click File, Print

And choose the CutePDF writer from the drop down menu for Printer.

Click OK.

You will be prompted as to where you’d like to save your Word Document as a PDF.
