CHANGES: Security updates will now use a two-week patching cycle instead of weekly patching. This will mean that you are asked to restart your computer only once every two weeks. It is very important that you restart your computer.
An exhibition on the 25th anniversary of German reunification will be on display in the L&S Learning Lab (Van Hise 259) starting this Wed. afternoon (Dec. 2) until Friday, Dec. 11. Jeanne Schueller, UW German Department, is coordinating the exhibit.

There’s nothing like a campus-wide phishing email to enliven a Monday afternoon. Today, the TechZone began receiving messages from many faculty and staff regarding a suspicious email. The email is titled “University of Wisconsin-Madison Mailbox Update” and appears to be hitting much of campus. The message is not legitimate, so we wanted to warn everyone to be careful where they click.

March Madness is upon us here at UW in more ways than one. Not only did the Badgers earn a number one seed in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament and recently advance to the Sweet Sixteen, but congratulations are also in order to many UW-Madison faculty. So far this month 13 UW faculty members were honored with awards, five of those being College of Letters and Science professors.
