Beginning on July 1, 2021, the Language Institute is managing the reservation of Van Hise seminar rooms 951, 1051, 1251, 1351, and 1418. Please use the form on the Language Institute website.

  • If you would like to reserve for multiple dates, please provide detailed information.
  • Please provide as much information as possible. For example, if you're showing a movie, please let us know whether it is a VHS or a DVD, and if possible the region or format. If your activity will require any special setup, or if you'll need any assistance or training in advance, please include that information here. Note that some setup intensive activities may require significant advance notice.

  • Room Access

    Van Hise 254, 274, 286, and 290 Van Hise doors are locked. To open the doors go to the AV Pool to request the door be opened for your reservation. Registered AV Pool patrons may request an LSS Lab Key for use during room reservation times by calling (608) 262-1678. If you are making an LSS Lab Key reservation for another faculty or staff member using the room, please call the AV Pool to set up a reservation in their name. If they are unregistered, they will need to bring a WiscID to the AV Pool before reservations can be made in their name.
