Instructors at UW-Madison are encouraged to use an increasing number of technologies and tools in their teaching, whether in-person, blended, or online. LSS consultants are familiar with this landscape, and happy to help you choose technologies that best meet the needs of you and your students.
We consult on effectively using campus-supported tools to support your teaching, including: Canvas, Kaltura MediaSpace, Google Apps for Education, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra, Pressbooks, Piazza, TopHat, and more.
In consulting, we are committed to:
- Recommending sustainable technology choices that are realistic, scalable, and support your learning objectives.
- Helping you develop a stable support structure (which may combine LSS resources with other campus services) for the entire lifecycle of your courses.
- Providing the necessary training and practical experience to meet your instructional goals.
